Botox and Fillers 101: Mastering the Basics

Course Overview

This intensive two-day course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of hair transplantation and restoration techniques. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, attendees will explore various methods of hair restoration, including Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). The program emphasizes both foundational principles and advanced technologies in hair restoration.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of hair transplant techniques, advanced restoration technologies, and hands-on experience necessary for successful practice in hair restoration.

2 Day Program

Morning Session (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) Participants will gain an understanding of hair transplantation principles and techniques, including:

  • Introduction to Hair Transplantation: Overview of hair loss and restoration options.
  • Hair Transplant Techniques: In-depth exploration of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT).
  • Donor Area and Recipient Site Creation: Techniques for harvesting hair follicles and creating recipient sites to ensure natural-looking results.
  • Implantation Methods: Strategies for achieving optimal aesthetics in hair restoration.

Lunch Break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

Afternoon Session (1:00 PM – 5:30 PM)
Participants will observe a live demonstration:

  • Live Demo: Experienced surgeons will perform a step-by-step demonstration of hair graft extraction and implantation techniques, providing real-time insights into best practices.
  • Closing Remarks/Q&A: An opportunity for participants to ask questions and clarify concepts from the day.

The second day focuses on advanced topics and techniques:

  • Review and Analysis of Day 1: Brief recap and discussion of key takeaways from the first day.
  • Advanced Topics in Hair Restoration: Exploration of new technologies in hair restoration, such as robotic-assisted FUE and PRP therapy.
  • Indications and Contraindications: Insight into appropriate use cases for PDO thread lifts, along with common contraindications and potential side effects.
  • Managing Complications: Strategies for preventing, identifying, and managing complications during hair restoration procedures, emphasizing the importance of post-procedure care.

Lunch Break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

Afternoon Session (1:00 PM – 5:30 PM)
Participants will engage in practical, hands-on training:

  • Live Demo & Hands-on Workshop (Part 2): Continuation of practical sessions, allowing participants to practice techniques on simulated models under expert supervision.
  • Q&A, Certification, and Closing: Open forum for final questions and discussions, followed by the presentation of completion certificates to participants.

Eligibility

Participants will gain essential techniques for Botox and fillers, understand key facial anatomy relevant to treatments, and learn safe injection methods along with pain management strategies. The program includes hands-on practice with expert guidance and emphasizes how to assess patients for aesthetic procedures.

Registration Includes

Full workshop documentation, tea breaks and lunch only. Transport and accommodation are not included. Participants are required to make their own travel arrangements.
